Who We Are

CK Art Company is an Indianapolis-based ornamental painting company. We apply high-end artistic skills to a wide range of projects.  When the company was formed in 2001, its primary focus was kids rooms, murals, and paint finishes. Later, we recognized the need for fine-tuned touchup and surface detailing, and we are excited to now offer these services. 

Owner and artist Carla Knopp graduated from Herron School of Art, IUPUI, where she studied painting, art history, and photography. She has painted exhibition murals for the Indiana State Museum and for the Children's Museum of Indianapolis, and has performed restoration painting on many historical sites in the area, including the Birch Bayh Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse, the Central Library in Indianapolis, and various county courthouses and historical museum homes. She also has completed a wide range of projects including children's rooms, school mascots, commercial murals, window splashes, and faux painted surfaces including wood graining, marble, and other finishes.
